Good To The Last Drop

From his underground bunker, Dr. Kelly watched the global destruction on twelve monitors.

He looked at his invention, The Unifier, a tear running down his cheek.

This wasn’t supposed to happen. The Unifier should have saved the future. A machine that allowed all computers, automatons, and AI engines to communicate and work together shouldn’t have produced this horror.

He was wrong, but that was not his biggest mistake.

The bunker door opened, and his personal automaton entered, carrying a small cup.

“I have now guaranteed that this is the best cup of coffee on Earth,” announced the robot.
